Lisa Drew is a dance educator, fitness instructor, and dance wellness expert. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Lisa received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Communication from Humboldt State University in 2018. During this time, she performed, instructed, and choreographed with North Coast Dance Company, a small ballet company in Northern California, where she discovered her true passion for teaching dance. Lisa later went on to receive her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Arizona State University, with a graduate certificate in Dance Teaching Artist Praxis, in 2021. Her published thesis, titled Dance Wellness Pedagogy, analyzed the process and benefit of implementing a dance wellness curricular framework in the collegiate setting.

Alongside teaching dance, Lisa is the Lead Performance Coach with The Dance Medicine Specialists Network, a certified Group Fitness Instructor from the American Council on Exercise, and a level 2 Neurokinetic Therapist. She blends her love of dance and fitness by developing and promoting dance-specific conditioning exercises, injury prevention strategies, and wellness-related practices for dancers. Her ultimate goal as a dance teacher is to help dancers reach optimal health, wellness, and performance by developing and maintaining safe, effective, and balanced training practices.
