Important Class Information

How our levels work...

We offer Level 1, 2, and 3 for most classes. Levels are broken down by age and skill level. Level 1 is a beginner level, level 2 is intermediate, and level 3 is advanced. • Students wanting to enroll in any lyrical class must also be enrolled in ballet

• Students wanting to enroll in any contemporary class must also be enrolled in ballet or jazz

• Students wanting to take pre-pointe/pointe must be enrolled in a ballet class twice a week and have teacher approval. If you are absent in your normal ballet class, you cannot participate in pre-pointe/pointe that week.

• All Level 2 and 3 classes require a placement exam for enrollment.

Placement Exams: Dance is an individual art form and students need to be allowed the time necessary to achieve skills at a pace that’s comfortable for them. No two students will progress at the same rate, even if they experience the exact same training. It’s important to us to encourage students to work hard, set goals, and be satisfied with their individual accomplishments regardless of the length of time it takes to achieve their goals.

ESA Policy:

We are making an adjustment to our ESA Fund policy. You are welcome to put your child's ESA card as the main card on file on your account. If the ESA card is used as the main card on file, it will be automatically charged for tuition on the 27th of each month. However, please note that the main card on file will also be used for other charges, such as snacks, costumes, media fees, or any other outstanding balances. In the event that the ESA card is charged for these additional charges, the policy states that refunds to the ESA card will not be possible.If you prefer to keep ESA funds separate from other charges, the option available to you, is to put a different card on file and pay the tuition with your child's ESA card in person or online before the 27th of each month.If you have any concerns or questions about the updated policy please  reach out to Diamond Dance Works for further clarification.

Tuition

Tuition above is a monthly price. 

Sibling Discount

We offer 5% sibling discount on additional children.

Registration Fee

A $35 one time non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration ($50 per family). This is due at the beginning of each season. 

Late Fee

Tuition is due the 27th of the month. Anyone who has not paid by the 1st of the month will be assessed a $15 late fee to their account. 

Drop In Fee

Anyone wanting to take a class that is not enrolled in a weekly course will be considered a drop in rate. The rate to drop in is $15 for that class. The fee must be paid prior to taking class. 

Sessions

6 week workshop classes! Diamond Dance Works offers some specialty classes in 6 week sessions in non-recital technique classes. The cost is $75 per session. Pre-enrollment is required and a minimum of 6 dancers is needed to continue the class. You can register through the parent portal. Sessions include adult classes, Toddler Time, and choreography and improvisation. For session information email the studio at info@diamonddanceworks.com

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available with our instructors upon request. Space must be reserved ahead of time. Ask the front desk for private lesson rates. All payments go through the front desk. 

Automatic Bill Pay

Automatic bill pay or ACH transfer are required for all students enrolled in Diamond Dance Works. Payment of tuition is due on the 27th for the following month. For example, December 1st tuition is due on November 27th.

Recital Costume/Media Fee

A costume fee of $85 per class is due November 10th, 2024 for those students that choose to participate in our June recital. There is also a required $25 media fee that includes all recital photos and video footage. Additional siblings in the same family are $10 each. Everyone is automatically enrolled in recital, however, recital participation is optional. To opt out see the front desk. Anyone who like to participate in recital after the cut-off date of November 10th can still do so. However, the costume fee will include a $10 rush costume fee.
